Light from above, Munich, Germany

At the end of March I was to visit a conference in Munich. At the end of the last day I went downtown to enjoy the beautiful weather in the English Garden. On the way to the English Garden I walked through an underpass where I found this rather interesting pattern of light from above and geometric elements in the wall and on the ground.

February Sunset, Ilkerbruch, Germany

After a dark and cold January, this years February started with some really nice sunsets in the area I am living. One day after work I went to a nature preserve area close to Wolfsburg and took this sunset picture. The silhouette of the hawk sitting high in the tree makes the image work for me.
